Brainbox Enterprises, Inc./Factory 515, LLC (brainbox.tv/factory515.com) are looking for a RIA/web project manager â someone who understands client/server web-based applications and websites. Core technologies include Flex, Flash (AS2/AS3), HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON, SQL Server, ColdFusion, Java, and potentially some PHP, .NET, and Ruby. The ability to develop applications using these technologies is not required but is very helpful.
Your core role would include managing a diverse team of both in-house and contracted designers, front end developers and back end developers as well as managing client relations. Impeccable communication and leadership skills are a must! You would also need to be able to communicate our core competencies and capabilities with prospective clients and work with senior management and designer/developers to create proposals, budgets, and requirement documents.
Typical workload would include 1 or 2 large projects and several other smaller projects concurrently. Some travel, especially to New York City may be required. Day-to-day duties include gathering requirements and writing related requirements documents, such as SRS, PERTs, etc. You would also be required to motivate and keep team members on task, time and budget.
Our environment is dynamic, creative, and quite unlike most other companies. We are a creative media company that creates both original programming for major cable networks as well as interactive experiences and rich internet applications for the web.
PMP is not required, but beneficial. Knowledge of issue tracking systems, project management software is also highly desired.
